RAI BIOGRAPHY
Aishwarya Rai was born in Karnataka, India on November
1st,1973.She is a striking beauty with exhilarating blue-green eyes,5'7" tall
and fluent in three languages, English, Hindi and Kannada .She is a well known
model and an actress of mega film industries that is Bollywood and Hollywood.
Her father Krishnaraj Rai worked as Navy Merchant officer while her
mother Vrinda Rai was a house wife and like to write. Aishwarya also has a 3
years older brother named Aditya.Her family moved to Mumbai from Karnataka when
Aishwarya was 4 years old.
Aishwarya was brilliant at school. Her favourite subject was Zoology and she
wanted to become a Zoologist. Due to some cercumstances she could't continue
science , she chosed Architecture and passed the interview at Raheja College .
By that time she started getting assignments for modeling. So she decided to
take break from Architecture and focusing on modeling. She signed a modeling
deal for several companies like Pamolive, Casio Pager, Pepsi, Philips, Sheetal
Diva, Prudent .Her appearance in Pepsi ad put her on the map. Due to sheer peer
pressure by her friends she filled the forms for Miss India. She was crowned
Miss India runner up in 1994 and she was a hot favorite to win the Miss
world title. Aishwarya Rai was crowned Miss Word title in
1994.On her way back to India she received a sweaty reception as people lined up
in streets to welcome her.
Later on Aishwarya joined Bollywood and started her
career as an actress. She won Filmfare Award for best actress for her
performance in the movie Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam . In 2003 she bagged
another filmfare award for best actress for the role of paro, she exposes in
film Devdas. Her movie stream continued and she appeared in several other
hindi movies.She had a well pamphleted affair with
Salman Khan which lasted 2 years. In April 2003, she experience an accident
on the sets of Khakee (2003). She broke a bone in one foot and suffered
severe cuts.

something to write about. So she's all set to go where no Indian star has gone
before. While others have thrash about alot. And now she's all set to tap into
Hollywood. Aishwarya Rai is the only Indian woman in world's Top 10
looking women.
